2008 Chevrolet Colorado truck

The 2008 Chevrolet Colorado is a compact Pickup truck having a sitting capacity for 5 passengers; it’s a 4 door truck which is available in 4 trims that includes work truck to LT2. The work truck versions of the new machine comes with a standard 2.9 liter I4 engine producing 185 horsepower and is capable of achieving 18 mpg on cities and 24 mpg on highways and the LT2 versions comes with a 3.7 liter I5 engine producing 242 horsepower capable of achieving 16 mpg and comes with optional 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive facility. The other standard feature of the new machine includes tilt steering wheel, rack and pinion steering, air conditioning, intermittent wipers, cruise control, folding outside mirror and lots more. The optional features for 2008 Chevrolet Colorado includes fog lamps, rear sliding window, high back bucket seats, power outside rearview mirrors, XM satellite radio, remote keyless entry, traction assist, heated leather seats, self dimming interior rearview mirror and more.

There have been lots of improvement in 2008 version compared to earlier 2007 models even it’s a carryover version, the base level 4 cylinder engines has been tuned to 2.9 liters to earlier 2.8 liters, and the new version produces more horsepower than earlier base models. It even has smoother shifting automatic transmission with a powerful 125 amp alternator and also a standard tire pressure monitor with a brighter interior trim. The new Chevy machine gives you more comfort with its improved design giving you more room and fulfilling ride, it has great fuel efficiency with good payload and towing capabilities compared to traditional versions.

The crew cab in the new machine has spacious back seat which gives good comfort, although a full sized Pickup Truck it fits into parking spaces easily and is smaller than similar models. The machine comes fitted with a 6 foot bed having regular and extended cabs it also has a towing capacity of 4000 pounds that can tow huge ATVs, personal watercraft, dirt bikes, camping trailers, and bass boats. The machine is available in regular cab, crew cab and extended cab configurations, the extended cabs versions comes with a 6 foot bed and the crew cab versions are fitted with 5 foot bed.

The new model has a Z71 off road suspension that are available with 2WD and 4WD versions, the low riding ZQ8 sport suspension is available with 2WD model. All the standard versions from Chevrolet comes equipped with hose it out vinyl floor mats and a durable vinyl seating arrangement, it is also best suited for muddy boot applications, it also boosts AM/FM stereo system and air conditioning which is also a standard feature in all its models.

The interiors of the new machine is dressed as up with chrome accents to door handles, it also has air outlet control knobs, instrument cluster trim rings, small speaker bezels, front door sill inserts, etc. the model has an optional front bucked seats which are wide and soft in outlay with lateral support. The door panels of the machine are molded map pockets which are contoured to keep bottle or a can.
